Hey my party people!

My name is Kaitlyn Rose (she/her) and I am a WI based tattoo artist of 10+ years.

I graduated from Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design in 2014 with a Bachelors in Fine Art. I then started my apprenticeship within the same year with a Madison based tattoo shop, and December of 2015 marked my first tattoo. I spent the next 8 years tattooing in the Madison area, until fall of 2024 when I joined Black Koi Studio. Just your neighborhood weird girl returning to her hometown, and I've been kicking it ever since!

I am a professional queer tattoo mama hype queen that strives to provide a body positive inclusive space to all of those that choose to create with me. I specialize in trauma informed care and promise to be patient and kind. Getting tattooed can be kinda scary sometimes and I try to do everything to make it less so. I myself am a weenie, so I get it! Communicate your needs with me, please.

I specialize in neotradional illustration, but in the end enjoy the variety of challenges I am presented with each tattoo request. I can be bold and colorful, delicate and soft, crispy and smooth. I like changing it up. Keeps it interesting!
