Heather started tattooing in 2012 in Winneconne, WI.  She moved to Madison, WI to tattoo and finish her apprenticeship with Brandon and the crew at Dead Anchor until 2018 when Black Koi Studio was opened. 

 

Originally starting her career with black and grey realism and charcoal art, she quickly found a love for color, as well as neotraditional and Japanese themed art.  In her spare time, she enjoys her family time, travelling, a good sushi spot, anime, gardening, and doing farm girl shennanigans!
